Red Dragon's Breath Algae removes both nitrates and phosphates from saltwater aquariums and is a beautiful algae for your aquarium. For optimal nutrient export, moderate to high lighting should be provided for this algae while keeping it in an area with moderate to strong water flow, especially if it is grown in clump form. It is a slower grower compared to most algaes.  Dragon's Breath algae is completely reef safe, a great habitat for copepods and amphipods, and can be harvested for your fish as natural food for your aquarium! Our Dragon's Breath algae is grown in fish-free systems, so you wont have to worry about parasites or diseases, but they may contain some copepods and amphipods since we grow these as well.
