The Gold Tetra, Hemigrammus rodwayi, is a great addition to a planted, community or discus tank! These healthy and active fish are brilliantly colored with iridescent gold- silver, form a tight school and add a luminous charisma to your aquarium! They do best in schools of 10 or more, as they are very communal. Gold tetras can be sensitive to sudden changes in their environment to do take care when handling/ acclimating them. They need to have excellent water quality, so please make sure to provide them with these conditions so you will have a stunning group of fish to add to your aquarium!
