These healthy and active fish form a school and add a luminous charisma to your aquarium! They do best in schools of 5 or more, as they are very communal. Bleeding Heart tetras can be sensitive to sudden changes in their environment to do take care when handling/ acclimating them.  These do get moderately large for a tetra species, and can nip on fish with long flowing fins or are slow moving like goldfish, so do consider this when adding them to your aquarium. They need to have excellent water quality, so please make sure to provide them with these conditions so you will have a stunning group of fish to add to your aquarium!
